Yarr, I be a self congratulating son of a parrot!

Ask me how I became a pirate.

I thought my fingers were sore - In the past 18 days, I've written just over 100 blog posts - that's quite a lot! I'm enjoying my new found enthusiasm for blogging, and the quality of the blog has definitely risen. Instead of fleetingly posting a paragraph onto the blog every other month, I've started to develop a feel for blogging, and am in a rythym - no stopping me now!

While doing a bit of housekeeping on the computer the other day, I came across my archived LiveJournal posts - my, how many! Those were the days. I certainly liked to talk, and it would be nice if I believe I had grown up suitably to not talk about the same sorts of things I did 5 years ago, but I fear I still do. I still certainly say 'I' a lot.

If you like saying 'I', then chances are you probably like to also say 'Arr' - if so, you're in luck! Tomorrow is International Talk Like A Pirate Day, the day where you can yo-ho-ho, drink bottles of rum, swab the deck (or desk, as it may be), and die of scurvy, all without fear of retribution. If only I could find my eye-patch...

This post is related to 4 areas of discussion: international talk like a pirate day, talk like a pirate, pirates, pirate day.
