Throwing caution to the wind
Until about a year ago I had never been a gambling man. My interest in Poker grew as a result of my magical studies (there are many Poker based routines you can learn and devise), and as a result, my interest grew in the wider field of gambling in general. Gambling for me is a strange subject; I rarely play the lottery, as I don't really see it as gambling, but enjoy playing games at least partly based on skill, such as Roulette. Gambling for me is all about having some control (however small) of the outcome, yet simultaneously throwing caution to the wind and letting chance have it's way with me. It's certainly not about losing control and fleecing myself, though, and after reading Dostoyevsky's The Gambler, I'm all the more determined to make sure I conduct my online gambling responsibly.
With this in mind, my time on the Internet over the course of this year has been spent looking for places where I can earn a hard buck; when I do choose to rendezvous with Lady Luck it's most often at PartyPoker, or Ladbrokes, but am tempted to move to more exotic pastures if I'm feeling fruity. One such place is JackPot City Casino: as well as having a neato name, they also boast 140 different games to whet your gambling whistle. With such variety, I doubt I'll get bored soon, and the signup bonus (which they offer) hasn't failed to keep me happy.
