The never-ending redesign job
Sober Productions has changed a bit. The Independent featured, dark, moody Sober Productions first seen in 2006 has been replaced with a more colourful, typeface lead, chunky, Serif design. I've christened it 'filmgeek', as it's largely based on a design I did a few years ago for a film site I was working on, which will probably never see the light of day. At least the design has finally found a use!
Structurally the website is much the same, but there are a few little display tweaks, and behind the scenes changes that make managing things a lot easier. The design will be tweaked a little bit over the next few days, but on the whole I'm pleased with the changes. The new design is certainly a lot more readable.
So, another chapter in the never-ending story that is the redesign history of this website is complete. Any thoughts on the new design? Let me know in the comments section.
