Spotting Poker Tells

The more I play poker, the more I find it's possible to rely not only on my experience with numbers, but also with the experience I have on spotting tells. It's a difficult skill to gain, and there's an absolute ton of information to be read about the subject - many a book in my library discusses psychology (usually from the standpoint of a magician or mindreader). Learning and successfully putting techniques learnt in books into practice is fascinating stuff, and it's a joy to behold when you see your skills pay off. If you ever want a demo of my facial-reading skills, feel free to ask me.

Joe Navarro has got an amazing new seminar (details can be found at Welcome to Navarro Poker) coming soon to Las Vegas, which is all about poker tells - he sounds like he knows his stuff, as he spent 25 years working with the FBI at spotting and decoding tells. Interesting stuff, and I'd love to go if I could afford it!
