Run, Fat Boy, Run

Seeing this was an interesting experience for me, given that we were sitting in front of a Mum and Dad, complete with 1.1 child; the extra 0.1 being the ability to inanely shout "Run, Fat Boy, Run!" at the most inappropriate moments. I also lost my phone watching this film, which only adds to the bad experience.

Despite the calamity of this particular visit to my local, gormless, sticky Cineworld, the film we went to see was pretty much as expected. There was cheeky Simon Pegg, a pretty Thandie Newton, and a drunk Dylan Moran (find another type of role, please!). It's another solid british movie (if you can call it that, given that it was directed by David Schwimmer, and written by Michael Ian Black) that won't do anything apart from entertain you for 95 minutes. I wouldn't say it's an instantly forgettable movie, but it almost is. I will say this in it's defence, though; it did make me want to go for a run.

Read more about the films I've watched on my movies page.
