Review My Post

PayPerPost has gone all self-referential and launched a Review My Post feature, which means bloggers can get paid when a member of their readership reviews a post of theirs. I've had a little think about the program and how it works, and I can't quite see where the money comes from: obviously PayPerPost want to get as many people using their site as they can, and it's a good way for them to get more referrals (from referrers who are no doubt trusted by the new users), but whether they make enough money from the new users to make it worth their while to pay the original refererer is questionable.

One good thing about the new scheme from PPP's perspective is that anyone can add the badge to their blog, whether they choose to take advantage of sponsored opportunities or not. So, even if it does end up costing PPP a few bucks, in the long run it's still good exposure if they want to increase blog traffic.

Regardless of whether or not it's good for PayPerPost, it's certainly good for me - so much so that I've added a 'review this post' link to the bottom of each of my PayPerPost / Sponsored entries. If you're feeling adventurous give it a go and earn me some money!
