Praise Jeebus, for I am healed!

It's been ten weeks since I quite badly injured my ankle playing football. Since then I've done barely any exercise, and my waistline has heavily paid the price. I've really been keeping off it, but in the last week or so I've felt stability returning to said ankle. Tonight saw me head off to the park for a light jog in the rain to test out this so called stability.

Good news! There's still a slight twinge in there when I head over really rough terrain (like cracked and rocky paving), but it certainly doesn't hurt when jogging, which means I'm free to slowly start getting proper exercise again. The plan is to make a slow return to full time exercise, and I don't think the guys at football will see me for another few weeks yet, but it feels nice to know I can go for a quick dash around the park without too much trouble. Praise Jeebus; I've no longer got a gimpy leg!
