One 360 leads to another...
I picked up the new XBox 360 from the Post Office today, opened it with glee, plugged it all in, and...it didn't work. Well, it did, but in order to play even a simple demo disc, you need either a hard disk, or a memory card. Is that not the most absurd thing you've ever heard? In order to play a DEMO DISC, which doesn't need to go anywhere near memory, due to the fact you can't save any data, needs to have a storage device present. I think that's the biggest load of shit I've ever had to find out (and it cost me £6 for an unplayable demo disc, too). You'd think they would tell you that you need a memory card or hard drive to get anywhere with the machine, especially if they're not bundling it with the core pack. So, the £200 core pack isn't actually a core pack at all, as it isn't actually able to play any games. How could Microsoft be so infuriatingly unforthcoming with their customers?
You know where the 360 is headed to know, don't you? Ebay.
