My Love / Hate Relationship with my Samsung D800

You know I've been bigging up my Samsung phone recently? In truth it's been driving me a little bit mad. Don't get me wrong, I've got one of the best rated cell phones around, which is packed full of features (even though I only really use it for texting), but it's not quite perfect. I've been getting good reception around most places in Brighton (whereas Joeys old phone didn't work in our flat for some reason), but...

We've been working on some stuff at work so we can do mobile/photoblogging without using any third party apps (which basically means I end up writing a lot of Perl, which is awesome), but it's been a bit difficult to test it - you see, my Mobile doesn't seem to want to send any emails. I've looked up the o2 settings, had them delivered to my phone, but it still doesn't work! Whenever I compose and send an email, the GPRS icon sits there flashing for about 3 minutes, and then I get a message saying 'Disconnected from server' - very annoying! Does anyone know what might be wrong, or how to sort it out?

I actually have the exact same problem. I have a White D800 in the USA with T-Mobile service and everything works but the email. I don't understand it at all. I just keep getting the message "Disconnected from email server." I tried calling samsung for support but they claim they have no support database for the D800 in the US. Jerks.
