Lost Phone
There truly is no sign of my vanishing phone - my bet is that I lost it at Cineworld yesterday and some impolite chancer has had it away. So, if anyone's sent me a text recently and hasn't had a reply, it's either because a) I lost my phone, or b) I lost my phone and am using it as an excuse to ignore you. Either way, sorry!
Over the last few days, everything than can go wrong, has gone wrong. Whether it be Joey losing her wallet, me losing my phone, our car failing it's M.O.T, or the hamster mistaking Joey for food, it's happened, and happened without apology.
It feels a bit like I'm in one of those films where things keep getting worse, and worse, and worse, until the protagonist is completely on the edge. In this sort of film, one of two things could happen: if the film is slightly dark, and, say, directed by Gus Van Sant, in the next few days I'll go on a killing spree, indiscriminately shooting people, and taking my vengeance on an unfair world. Nice.
If we're talking about a more light-hearted film, starring, say, Adam Sander, the ruffled lead almost certainly has a love interest, and things just might turn out all-right after all. After all, every cloud has a silver lining, and things rarely happen without a reason in these sorts of films (and usually a good, but often undisclosed-until-the-last-act kind of reason). Which type of film do you think more accurately represents my situation? I do hope it's the latter...
