Getting a new Monitor

I've been thinking about getting a new monitor to replace my decrepid old monitor. My 21" CRT is about ten feet long, and could really do with being replaced by a sleek flatscreen. I'm not keen on going down the size ladder, and am also quite fond of widescreens, so am tempted by this 22" Viewsonic. The only thing is though it's quite pricey. Anyone know of any monitor-based bargains worth sharing?
