Epic Movie

Personally I find the spoof/pastiche/homage genres very enjoyable - they only seem to be popular amongst either complete idiots or movie buffs (which one am I?), and in my mind are only really appreciable if you 'get' the spoofs. I liked the Scary Movies, so Epic Movie was definitely a film worth giving a shot. I liked it in places, but it felt a little bit tame - not much really happened, and it was really a toned down Scary Movie, definitely with kids in mind. Still, a few laughs are better than nothing, right?
