Data woes

Computers are annoying. It's true. Trust me, I know. Why? Because my data drive failed last week. After trying and failing to restore the data upon it, photos, writings, projects, emails, movies, and music are all gone.

There are no options left, really, and it's ultimately all my fault that it's all gone. If I were a smart lad, I would have backed all the data up at some point, but alas, I am not smart. I'm less than smart. Thick, some might say.

I'll be backing things up in future, make no mistake. I have having loads of DVDs lying around, and having even more with potentially redundant data on them seems like a massive waste, so I'm probably going to try using an online storage solution and see what happens. iBackupOnline seems like a solid bet - I'd probably only need about 5gigs of storage, which would cost $9.95 - a bargain.

So, the moral of the story is to back up your data. Actually, scrap that - the moral of the story is that I should back up my data.
