Blood Diamond
This film is in many ways a perfect example of the power that movies can have on political issues. I don't think that anyone seeing this film will be able to ignore the issues it highlights, and if a movie can bring awareness to social issues such as poverty, civil war, and exploitation, all the better. It's a brilliant film, and Leo DiCaprio shows again that he can be great lead role, but I'm slightly jealous of his ability to do a convincing Zimbabwean accent!
